New Golden Visa Scheme in UAE: Easy Route to Lifetime Residency for Indians
The UAE has introduced a new nomination-based Golden Visa scheme, making lifetime residency more accessible to Indians. This article discusses the benefits and requirements of this new initiative.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a new Golden Visa scheme that offers Indians a more affordable route to lifetime residency in the country. Unlike the traditional method that required substantial property investments or business stakes, this new scheme allows eligible individuals to apply for as low as Rs 23 lakh. The pilot project, initially open to Indians and Bangladeshis, will soon include other Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) countries like China.
Rayad Kamal Ayub of the Rayad Group, entrusted with the Golden Visa process, sees this as a golden opportunity for Indians. However, only around 5,000 Indians can apply for this nomination-based visa in the first three months.
Consultancy organizations, Rayad Group and VFS, have been selected to oversee the initial rollout of the Golden Visa. Applicants can submit their applications through Vasco centers, registered offices, online portal, or dedicated call center services in India and Bangladesh.
Golden Visa holders can also sponsor their family members to join them in Dubai. The visa remains valid permanently and offers a range of business and professional opportunities in the UAE.
