Siemens Energy India Reports 36.34% Rise in Net Profit for Jan-Mar 2025

Siemens Energy India Ltd. (SEIL) announced a significant increase in net profit for the January-March 2025 period, driven by income from power transmission and generation segments.

Siemens Energy India Ltd. (SEIL) reported a 36.34% rise in net profit to ₹246.1 crore for the January-March 2025 quarter, compared to ₹180.5 crore in the same period last year. The company's total income for the quarter stood at ₹1,893.9 crore, up from ₹1,196.8 crore in the previous year. Revenue from transmission and generation segments saw significant growth, while expenses also increased due to higher costs of materials consumed and other direct costs. SEIL's profit more than doubled to ₹477.8 crore in the October-March period. SEIL, a leading energy technology company, recently got listed on the stock exchanges, reaffirming its commitment to India's energy future. The company's MD and CEO, Guilherme Mendonca, expressed readiness to support India's journey towards becoming a USD 7 trillion economy. In December 2023, Siemens Ltd. announced the demerger of its energy business into a separate entity, with Siemens AG and its subsidiaries holding a majority stake in SEIL.
