New Delhi: Climate change is affecting India's weather forecasting, according to Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, Director General of Meteorology at the India Meteorological Department (IMD). In an interview, Mohapatra expressed concern over the decreasing predictability of traditional weather patterns due to the rise in localized extreme weather events.
