Pakistan has announced a 48-hour closure of its airspace after India conducted a military strike on terror targets in Pakistan and POK. The airspace was reopened after an eight-hour closure but has since been closed again for 24 hours.

Pakistan announced a 48-hour closure of its airspace after India carried out a military strike on terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). Following the strike, Pakistani aviation authorities closed the airspace over Islamabad and Lahore, diverting flights to Karachi. International and domestic flights have since resumed, with a heavy rush witnessed at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

India launched missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and POK under 'Operation Sindoor' in retaliation for a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam that killed 26 people on April 22nd.
