An FIR has been registered against Royal Challengers Bangalore player Yash Dayal for allegedly sexually exploiting a woman, leading to a police investigation.

An FIR has been filed against Royal Challengers Bangalore player Yash Dayal for allegedly sexually exploiting a woman under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code. The action was taken by the police after the woman lodged a complaint through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The complainant claimed that she was physically and mentally exploited by the cricketer, whom she was in a relationship with for five years.
The victim, who resides in Indirapuram, alleges that the RCB pacer sexually exploited her and promised to marry her. She further stated that when she realized the deception and protested, she faced physical violence and mental harassment. The complainant also mentioned financial and emotional exploitation during the relationship.
To support her claims, the woman shared evidence such as mobile calls, screenshots, and video calls. The FIR was subsequently lodged after reviewing all the evidence submitted by the woman. The police will record statements from Dayal and the woman who was in a live-in relationship with him.
