China Reacts to Indian General's Claims
China responded to Indian Army Deputy Chief Lt Gen Rahul R Singh's remarks about Beijing providing active military support to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. The Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Mao Ning, stated that defense and security cooperation between China and Pakistan is part of their normal cooperation and does not target any third party. Mao highlighted the importance of China-Pakistan relations and expressed a desire for steady growth in bilateral ties with India.
Addressing allegations of China deploying its embassies to spread doubts about French-made Rafale jets' performance following the India-Pakistan conflict, Mao stated that she was not familiar with such reports. Gen Singh had previously mentioned Pakistan's frontline role with China's support during the conflict, where China monitored Indian military deployments using satellites to provide live inputs to Pakistan.

She emphasized that China-Pakistan relations do not target any third party and called for settling differences through dialogue and consultation. Mao also expressed China's readiness to play a constructive role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
