Over 25 crore workers, including those from public service sectors like banking, insurance, postal, and construction, are set to go on a nationwide strike on Wednesday. The strike is called by a forum of 10 central trade unions protesting the government's policies that are perceived as anti-worker and pro-corporate. The workers' union forum has urged workers to make the general strike a success. The strike is expected to involve more than 25 crore workers, with farmers and rural workers joining the protest.
